2016
The MDC CareerDay is aimed at PhD students and postdocs carrying out biomedical research at the Max Delbrück Center for Molecular Medicine in the Helmholtz Association (MDC) and the Leibniz Institut für Molekulare Pharmakologie (FMP) at the Berlin Buch campus, as well as early-career researchers from Berlin's Excellence Universities (Freie Universität Berlin and Humboldt Universität zu Berlin), Max Planck Institutes and other life science research institutions.
This one-day information and networking event offers a range of opportunities to help young scientists plan their careers. At a time of increased competition in global markets for research positions and funding, it is important that they start to plan their career in a timely and well-informed manner. The MDC CareerDay offers information about jobs, career alternatives and funding opportunities through the exchange of information between experts from both academia and industry. It gives participants the chance to obtain answers to their crucial career questions directly from professionals.
The MDC CareerDay 2016 will be organized jointly with our partner EMBL alumni and will have a special focus on careers in Clinical Research.
The CareerDay is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the MDC conference center, MDC.C, in Berlin Buch.
Information on the program and on the event registration will follow soon.
